Stretched renders

Has anybody else rendered to mpeg2 and noticed that the rendered file looks a little stretched? I'm looking in the preview window in Vegas, and comparing a face in the video with the rendered file in Windows Media Player, and the face looks a little bit stretched height-ways. What is the deal with that?

I'm using the DVD NTSC template.

Ok.... Well I just looked at the original file and it looks stretched too. Maybe Vegas is just making it look squished a little bit? Or maybe a problem with Windows Media Player?

Probably what you are seeing is WMP is not playing the video with the correct aspect.

What version of WMP? This problem was sort of corrected in version 9, and pretty much completely corrected in version 10.
