Stripes on videopicture

I need help to resolve following problem.
I have captured DV footage and when I insert takes to Vegas (Vegas 5.0 build 194) I get strange stripes on screen. Picture is ok till camera moves then all people or what is on picture outlines are covered with stripes. It dissapears when camera is still. When I try to render it to mpeg2 format the stripes on edges are still there.
Captured video (.avi) has no stripes.

Its interlaced and thats what you are seeing. To get rid of the "stripes" select the deinterlace in the project properties.

If you are going to play the video or DVD on a standard television, do NOT de-interlace. What you are seeing is perfectly normal.
