Hello. I am an advertising student at Texas State University. As part of a class project we are trying to get an understanding of the software market. We are doing this by online survey and any feedback provided on forums. I see earlier on this forum that a classmate had already posted a survey, we are in competing groups and their findings are not shared. Our group strongly thanks you in advance for your assistance.

The survey is only 26 questions and should take away little of your time. We would really appreciate any assistance you can give.

The link below is our online survey. If you have a desire for further assistance, there is a place on the survey to submit your email address.

Any help is tons of help.
Thanks again.

There are too many personal questions right at the beginning. You'll scare people away unless they know there's some good reward coming.

Question 10: You don't list SONY Vegas. That's a very bad ommision if you want assistance from the folks in this forum.

Question 13: I already use SONY software. "Other" is an odd response to give in this case.

Question 14: You spelled "Fidelity" wrong.

Question 22: This should really be multiple choice.

Question 27: I don't feel comfortable with being restircted to one category per answer. You should allow duplicate answers to each category. I would choose "Heavily" for Magazines and Internet, and "Poorly" for all others. With the grid you have set up it makes it look like i rely more heavily on more sources when in fact i never even pay attention to almost all of those categories.

Question 29: Ummmm, i thought you said there were 26 questions.

Why do we end up at adoptioncoalitiontx.com after completing the survey?

Thanks for your assistance on bettering this survey.

For 10/13. If you said yes to the question before on do you use, this was really just to see alternatives.

14. This error was found before your respose. Though to edit the survey would mean altering data. I apologize for the misspelling and other mechanical errors.

22. If you want to choose multiples, the other option has been used by many. Surveys are approximates. Most of the times, Often and nevers. These options are trying to dodge the grays in life for survey simplicity.

27. You are not required to fill all of the options. The survey might have been better worded and again I apologize for this.

29. Yeah. We're college kids. Spelling and counting are for dorks. haha.

26 questions not counting the last 3 advertising related. Only 26 related to software. But I apologize for misleading.

In an earlier campaign for this class the client was Adoption Coalition of Texas. I did not mean to have this survey forward to that site. I apologize. You are the first to bring this to my awareness. Congrats.
