I am not sure what you are asking here. I can render all clips as one video, and I can set the preview window in the right just fine, using 322.

You might have some dragging and dropping to do.

Cheers crawdaddy, sorted preview thanks to your comments and will try again to render multiple clips as one video.

I am not able to render six clips into one video. have looked at settings in preference and all look ok. now at a loss of what to do next. I did not have this issue before i had the upgrade to build 322. can anyone suggest something please?

You don't have Render Loop Region Only checked in the render settings, do you?

Just curious, but are you clicking render (or make movie) once and getting six separate files output, one from each clip? If so, let's figure out what you're doing and write down the instructions because a lot of people want to get exactly that!

It's certainly not normal behavior for Vegas. Tell us what steps you're doing and maybe we can figure out what's going wrong.

Sorry for the delay, no i am not checking render loop region only. i have been through settings agian, right clicked on each clip on teh time line, unchecked loop to see if that may make a difference..no! have tried a nuber of different processes but to no avail. it does not matter which way i go into render it still only renders each clip. i am saving the rendered file onto an external hard drive.

Any ideas?

Are they one the same video line. Have your using just two on a single video track? I would do that and see if its a specific number. But I can tell you on my machine I have rendered 10's of still images, and maybe 20 or 30 clips with no issue. How about posting a screen shot that we can see.
royboy wrote on 6/26/2012, 12:12 PM
Yep, all on the same time line and linked together. did not have an issue before uploading the build 322 update. i'll get a screen shot of the page and post

how do i load a screen shot in this forum?
D7K wrote on 6/27/2012, 12:24 PM
You'll probably have to upload it as an image to either your own online storage/website and post the link.

Just curious, but why post an image embedded in a Word document file, rather than just post the image?

I've been seeing a *LOT* of people post or submit screenshots this way lately and i just don't get it. Why make the person you want to see it go through the extra effort of opening a Word doc just to see the image when it's easier both to send and view the image on it's own? For that matter, a lot of people can't open a .docx file but can only handle .doc. And then there are some folks who can't even open .doc files.

That aside ...

Your timeline layout looks ok. So you're saying that when you render you get only one clip in the output instead of the entire timeline? Or are you saying that you get multiple output files each containing only one of the original clips? Please describe your exact steps, click by click, when you render.

Also just curious, but is there a reason you're using a 4:3 project layout for wide screen material?
