Ok, don't slam me! I did search a bit, but could not find an answer. How do you burn a CD with video on it that will play in a DVD player? I did it once before, but now I forget how to do it.
Go to TOOLS>Burn CD>Multimedia disk, and choose the format. You can burn as an MPEG2, which most newer DVD players will play, or as an MPEG1, which some DVD players will play, or as a WMV file, which only really new DVD players will play.
there are other render options too, but I'm not aware of any DVD players that play Quicktime or Real media.
Then, use http://www.vcdeasy.org/ to take your MPEGs and organize them neatly in a player friendly menu format. I believe it is a limited freeware version. Check to be sure. I believe older versions floating around on the net aren't limited but obviously contain less features than the latest build.
Personally, I use Nero Express 5.5 to burn SVCDs for my DVD player. It works rather nicely. It has a convenient menu builder and you can drag and drop you MPEGs, or JPEG still images.
