Such a simple thing...

N00bie here(forum search was unsuccessful).

Problem: No audio in movie output to hard drive.

What I did:
1) Inserted timelapse jpgs into main video track. Rendered to mpg. Displays fine.
2) Opened New Project, inserted above mpg into main video track.
3) Added a short wav file to music audio track.
4) Made Movie. Clicked on Play Movie? mpg displays w/ no audio.

If I click on play in the lower left of the main project area, the movie plays with the sound track in the preview window.

Am I missing something? Have I not set something?

While I'm at it, the documentation for this product is marginal at best, can someone suggest a book or website where I can start climbing the steep learning curve?

Figured it out on my own...Duh : )

Still would like a book recommendation.

I'll recommend using the .mpg file you produced in step 1 as the video you used to render in step 4. This can lead to an MPEG file being rerendered into another MPEG file with a loss of quality. A much better option would be to add the music file to the original timelapse images and render once from there.

If you render to an mpg using the default settings, the audio doesn't get rendered. So, you must go into the Custom settings and enable audio.
