Suddenly can't start Vegas PRO 22

I'm familiar with previous issues where you could disconnect from internet or temporarily remove "FileIOSurrogate.exe" file from Vegas folder to get the program working, but that doesn't seem to work for me this time. Not sure how to provide more info since I'm not getting any crash logs... It just doesn't want to open up!

A remote possibility is that VP22 is stuck in the computer's memory which can usually be fixed by opening the Task Manager and under the Background Processes tab 'End Task' any Vegas Pro instances in that list.
