Super bad performance

Help. Sony support won't answer my emails, so I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have movie studio platinum. Its behavior is odd. I once could make a 3 minute 4k video in about 3-6 hours, now it is taking over 24 hours. CPU only reaching 25% during renders. I have F-disc and reinstalled OS, reinstalled platinum in hope of getting back to where it was. Problem seems to be getting worse. No help from sony, I don't think they're reading my emails. I'm at the point of tears, this is aweful.

Is anything different? For example any new FX?

You would have to post complete media, project, timeline fx, and render properties for BOTH projects in order for anyone here to do anything but guess.

If you want to run some tests, start with a clean project, media settings matched, no timeline effects or sizing, and a stock render template. Then, start adding in stuff that is in your current project, and compare render times. Something as simple as having an opacity slider at 99% can quadruple your rendering times.
