super-duper-easy-template

am helping a photographer friend out with her proof sheets. she wants to showcase proofs using cool photomontage. I wanna help her, but want it to be EASY for me. how do I set up a template and then SUBstitue new photos? I'm thinking: template 1--sweet, template 2 fun and funky...then just change out photos for each client.

what's easiest way to do this?

Create the project. Then when you are ready for the next project, just save the new pictures with the same names as the old pictures. When you open the project, you will then get the new pictures.

Can't this be done with Takes? Just drop the new clip over the old?
Maybe I'm not understanding the drawbacks to Takes and I'm not in front of Vegas right now.

Sure it could IF you want to manually drop all of the new pictures on top of the old pictures. Just make sure they are named the same as the originals when you save them and you'll save a TON of time over using takes.
