Is motion blur automatically selected when supersampling is selected in the video bus?

((No, they are 2 very differnt entities, the only relationship they share is the means in which they are utlilised.. theyre not actual effects per se.. even though motion blur (IMO) should be a filter... its nto treated as such))

Can get motion blur selected by itself, but when supersampling is selected motion blur is checked, seemingly by default.
((U can turn these envelopes on and off as u need to.. jsut right click the grey track header and select teh appropriate envelope to reveal the one u want to use))

That the way it's supposed to be or is there a way to over ride the blur application?

((Blur is not automatic.. be sure its UNCHECKED when u do the above procedure.. ))

This page shows the difference between motion blur and supersampling and what happens when you use them in combination:

As a general rule, supersampling and motion blur can be used together for generated media quite well, but are for the most part useless on any video shot with a camera.

Hi Laurence. Wouldn't agree Motion Blur is useless on video. It can give a really cool effect on some video material.

For example, if you have a guy running left to right (or right to left) and the camera is panning to track him, MB will make the background go a bit wild while the running guy is reasonably sharp. It's not realistic, but as I said, it's an effect, and it can work well in some videos.

It can also be very useful for cleaning up damaged video in some circumstances.

Think I got it.
Sank in as I watched the checkerboard spin.
Must have generated some alpha waves up there.
Thanks to Cheese for the checkerboard.
Haven't seen that effect since I over imbibed at an Italian restaurant years ago.
But I think I as spinning on that occassion.
Felt like it anyway.
Almost as exciting in mono!
Gravol please!
Thanks y'all!
