I have Vegas Pro 15. I have found it does not recognize my Decklink HD extreme 3d+. I downloaded a trial verion of Vegas Pro 17 but I get paused preview but when I press play both the preview and external monitor goes blank. I have this problem on both 2D and 3D projects. Please can someone help.

Try setting the Decklink to 60 hz in the Decklink Control Panel, aka, "Desktop Video" program. Also, make sure that Vegas external monitor is set to Blackmagic or Decklink.

Some BM cards work and some don't, I have two, one is fine, the other has no Vegas support.

I just purchased Vegas Edit 17 and I still cannot get this to work. The specification definitly say's the Decklink HD Extreme 3D+ is supported. Is there anything else I can try. It works OK with resolve. The Decklink is not showing up in the prevoew dropdown,.I am running the latest drivers.

Ok I have found the problem. I was using the latest version of Desktop Video 11.5 which was release on the 17th Feb 2020. I have now regressed to version 11.4.1 which was released on the 7th Oct 2019 and it works with 2D projects. 3D projects only works in 2D. Magix probably need to rebuild Vegas Pro with the 11.5 SDK to work with the latest drivers. As I understand the Microsoft video SDK is not stable and gets changed on nearly every release of Windows 10 which explains why Nvidia have to keep updating thier drivers for every release of Windows 10. It means that Magix will need to update the builds of Vegas Pro more often.
