Surround Panner Reversed?

I've started experimenting with 5.1 audio and have noticed my panner seems to be configured backwards (Front/rear only. Left/right is fine.) I've calibrated my surround system correctly and even re-checked it. Am I missing something obvious?

you might have your outputs pointing to the wrong place in your Options/Prefs/Audio Hardware.

That was it. They were configured to default. Thanks again Spot!
