Surround Plugins on Master Bus

Does vegas not support third party surround plugins on the master bus? I tried inserting a surround VST plugin but it does not activate. What gives?

No, and it has been a source of complaints for over four years WITHOUT A RESPONSE from the Vegas developers, that despite MULTIPLE threads, posts and support tickets!

Just "one" of the reasons I have not paid to upgrade from Vegas Pro 8.

Works in recent Sound Forge though, so go figure.
