I am trying to create a 5.1 surround project but I don't think Vegas is behaving the way it should. Here's what I am doing -
1. Create a new project and change audio from stereo to surround sound.
2. Drag .mt2 clip on the timeline
3. Open the surround panner
4. Right click on the audio track and add a surround sound keyframe envelope
5. Move to various points in the audio timeline and then move the orange panner around in the surround panner window
6. Add a Surround Position keyframe at that point in the timeline.
The problem is the surround panner window never changes (nor does the little panner on the audio track) as I move through the timeline. It always stays at wherever the last place I manually drug it to.
Any thoughts? My understanding is that the surround panner should move around as each of the keyframes is reached, thereby changing the surround mix.
