Ok. I made a svcd and it didnt even work on on dvd unit I tried, and the player that played the vcd just played very broken and of color (green) video with aot of pixelation streaks.
since in vegas when you choose to make a vcd, you cant choose to code as mpeg-2, I rendered te file as an mpeg-2 using the svcd templete then went to create vcd and used the option to make cd using a current file.
I am eventually going to by a dvd burner, but want to wait until A. standard is more set B. price comes down more
I like vegas and use many sofo products. I am just very dissapointed that Vegas cant make a vcd that looks good or even a svcd that will work. I dont want to incorporate a stand-alone program just to do vcd's (like mentioned on vcdhelp)
any words of advice? I am doing something wrong??
