SwishMax Question

Hey gang, I'm using SwishMax for a little text animation using an alpha background - I want the text to come in right over a piece of footage. I notice when it get's to that part of the footage and the animation occurs, it looks like something happens to the footage when the animation is playing....almost like it turns into soft focus or something. Then when it plays past the .swf file the footage is clear again - no soft focus. Anyone else had this kind of problem using SwishMax? Any thoughts on what's going on here?

i use swishmax all the time.. never had that problem...
are you using the entire swishmax window? and resizing it? or are you overlaying it on your video and chroma keying it out???

very strange

Yes - I started with a 720x480 sized window...even though the text is only taking up a small part. Maybe I should try doing this with a window just big enough for the text? I'll try that and see if that works - thanks!

Edit: I went ahead and rendered out a small segment just to see how it would look after being rendered and whatever it was....is gone in the .avi file. It's still there when I'm watching it from the timeline but after rendering to .avi - it's clean as a whistle. The things that make you say "hmmmmmm"?

Thanks again -
