unfortunately not. they don't share project files in any way. it would save me many, many hours/days/weeks of time if they did.

I haven't worked with Vegas 5 yet, but there's an added feature of being able to work with Acid files in some manner. I'm curious to see how this works but I haven't seen any posts about it as yet.

For what you are doing, it is possible. What you need to do is setup midi beat clocks. You can send a midi beat clock from Vegas, and within Acid you need to set it up to receive midi beat clock. Also, if both apps are located on the same PC and you don't have a midi interface, then you'll need to install the virtual midi router and route the midi clocks. It is possible to do what you're looking for, it takes some basic understandings of using midi beat clock sync.
