Yes, but it should be very few. I have an Akai DVD player, that seems to play in sync, until you hit any kind of advance or backup button on the remote. Once you touch a button, it's never in sync again. Sometimes I can hit "pause" and "unpause" and it might be close to in sync again, but the best thing is to remove the disc and start it over again. As a result, I never use this player, except to make sure certains discs will play to the end. This is not a result of DVD-A or any homemade disc, this happens with Hollywood pro discs too.
