Sync error Lost 4 frames of audio at import Mpeg2 imported into Vegas5
-
Plaease can anybody help me out
I need to import mpeg2 (program stream audio+video)
PAL/DVD compliant Mpeg2-codec 720x576 pix /(Mpeg-1 Audio Layer II)
my clip is abt. 1 Gb and i try to authore it on DVD but need some editing to do before.
I drop it into Vegas5, and i zoom it to very end (where i can see frames)
and i see audio is 4 frames shorter than video.
there seems to no sense of the lengtth/size of the clip -(tried 300MB clip also )
and got again these mysterious 4 lost/missing frames.
after rendering into new track i went to preview it and i got out of sync
at the end of clip..

I have done this eariler with Vegas4 but - never noticed this before
What is wrong - is it my system issue / XP pro Sp1 / P4-3Ghz/HT/1GBram?
Thank You
PS!
Sorry i tried forum Search / but i saw too many different opinions .. and got out of ideas ..:(
