I'm using vegas 4 and although I can use the sync to cursor to move the timeline when adding keyframes for pan/crop, motion and video fx the same is not true for media generators - the button is greyed out.

Can anyone offer an explanation as I think it is crucial that you need to know at what point on the timeline that you are adding keyframes?
