Synching Video Actions to Music...

I'm wondering what the easiest way to synch certain actions in a video to a song is. I'm using Vegas Movie Studio+DVD.

For instance I want to have my daughter raise her hands up and down to the beat of a song. I have a 3 second clip that I can repeat but I'm not sure how to synch it to the beat.

Any help would be appreciated.

I put markers where the beat is then I synce my video with that. There's no automatic way to do it if that's what you were wondering.
