I don't know if VMS has an automatic picture to music sync feature like many of the slide show programs do, but I had a thought. Once you know the length of your music (in seconds), divide that by the number of pictures you want to use. Go to options-preferences-editing and under 'new still image length' set it to the number of seconds from above and then add your pictures to the time line and that should work. Someone will hopefully have an even easier method. Let us know. Cin

You should stop over in the "big vegas" forum and meet Grazie. These sorts of questions get him very excited and creative.

One method he came up with for this task is to listen to the music playing in Vegas and press the M key on every beat where you want a new picture to start. Then when you add your pictures you can have them snap to the markers that were created on the beats.

I have done exactly that on some projects. It works great if the video-to-audio sync you're trying to do is non-uniform.
