My 35 min. project aborts rendering after 90% is completed. I get an error message saying that system memory is low. I have rendered my project twice and both times it cuts out at the same point in rendering

I have a 2.4 GHZ machine with 1 gig of DDR RAM. I am also finding that Vegas is sluggish loading my project but works fine once loaded.

If I open other programs at the same time I get a windows hungapp error for Vegas.

Other porograms on the computer run well.

I did recently install Roxio CD & DVD creator 6.0 (since then have uninstalled)

When Vegas crashed I also received an error message stating a problem with aviplug.dll file.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vegas a number of times. No change to performance.

I have also switched my page file from a setting of 2.5 gig on my D: drive (with 500megs. on my C: drive) back to a windows managed page file. Doesn't seem to make a difference.

The portion of the video that did render did not include the shadow or glow that I had added to the track motion for the slideshow portion of my project. I suspect this may be an unrelated problem.
