I'm considering upgrading from SMV Platinum Ed. 8 (I wonder why Sony couldn't make that name longer ;) to Vegas Pro. I see in the comparison chart that Pro offers "system wide media management".

I've been struggling to find software that will allow me to find my Sony HD videos (*.m2t files) on my harddrive based on keywords rather than viewing hundreds of videos to find the one I want.

Does "system wide media management" provide that capability (e.g., keyword search)?
