T 001.m2t-0-20898878000-1.sfk crashing

So I'm opening this project that I've spent weeks working on. I'm suppose to be wrapping it up today but the project keeps crashing on startup due to it building the peaks for a T 001.m2t-0-20898878000-1.sfk file.
Does this refer to a reverse sample of an audio clip?
There is a T 001.m2t.sfk file that loads up fine but it goes to do this one, gets to 40% each time and crashes.
I've removed both files, it builds the peak for the T 001.m2t.sfk file but then gets to 40% of the T 001.m2t-0-20898878000-1.sfk file and crashes again.

What is the problem here?
I make frequent save as new file each time I do a major chunks. Unfortunately whatever is happening here goes back to a much much earlier file.

Please help!

So it looks like it's in reference to a reversal of my T 001(reverse subclip) when I delete that reference from the project media window and restart the project, it opens fine. When I open it without deleting that subclip it crashes at 40% again.
but why and do I just cancel the peak building each time? Or is there another way to stop it from building this audio peak (which I'm not using that audio anyways)?
