Tagging in Project Media taking forever

VP 13 64-bit, about 160 video clips in Project Media bin. Every time I tag a clip, it takes upwards of 20 seconds for the process to complete, and locks up Vegas until it does.
I've noticed that the tagging process is instantaneous when there are only a few clips in the Project Media bin.
Is this a known issue? Moreover, can it be fixed?

I never use the tag feature before, so I just tried it today:

If I select multiple clips, add tag to them, there's little time needed on tagging them, although they are less than 8 seconds, but tag one clip is instant process, without waiting.
I test in 204 clips Project Media.
