Taking the plunge into Vegas 5+DVD

So I'm getting ready to spring for the upgrade, but there is one thing I want to know. First a little background.....

I've been using V3 for some time now and I love it. I use it mostly for audio, but I do an occasional video project on it. Lately, I've had the need to burn DVD's. To do this, I've been using Sonic My DVD, which came with the burner, or Pinnacle Studio 8 SE, which came with my DV camera. Both seem to work O.K. for some situations, but they both have serious drawbacks to working effeciently. MyDVD is very finicky about what kind of files it uses for the actual burn. Pinnacle Studio takes forever and a day to render even short projects. I'm on my second attempt in 12 hours to render a 65 minute video right now. I realize these are hardly professional tools, but.....

THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY!!!

I'm hoping beyond hope that Vegas5+DVD will solve these issues. Can anyone tell me what to expect when I go to make DVD's using DVDA2?

Help?
