have a 40min project (single rendered m2t file after editing) and dropped a PAL tc fx on it to send the client a dvd with visual time code to check, correct, whatever.

crashed (with 'sorry for the inconvenience, etc') at 38 mins. so chopped the last 5 minutes and tried again on the 5min segment. crashed at same spot. presuming it a 'error' re-rendered 5 minute segment to new track minus tc, and all went well. put tc fx, crashed again rendering to pal dvd mpeg. tried rendering to m2t, same story - all crashes with 'sorry, etc.,'

when is 8c due?
