TDK IndiCAPTURE USB 2.0 Video Capture Device - $49.00 (good?)

Anyone have experience with the TDK IndiCAPTURE USB 2.0 Video Capture Device? It is on sale right now with Tiger Direct for $49.00... which seem like a good deal if it works well. No firewire, still....

I've yet to see a USB device work flawlessly. This is mostly due to resource allocation rather than the device or protocol. But hey, I'm a snob...I don't like dropped frames.
The TDK unit is manufactured by Kouwell. They've been known to be less than decent in the past.
