Text boxes

I am new to Editing Software and I am attempting to learn this program. I have a video that has two texts added in. The first text comes out alright, but the second text shows up alright in the program, but when made into a video, it shows a top and bottom border that you do not see in the editor. What can be causing this?

Are you able to make a screenshot of what you see and show us here by uploading it by the button on top of your aswer.

Close the TEXT interface and the border will go away.

Are you referring to media generator? I closed it and tried again, two lines are still there.

Maybe the subtitles preset is puttiing a box around it?

No, I tried it also, here no problem.
We cannot see if there is maybe someting else on the tracks that can cause it, therefore we need a screenshot from the whole timeline with closed text generator and the cursor on this text.

ok.. I figured it out.... still not sure which way it was I figured it... made three changes that I saw that was I guess default. Under the advanced, outline, and shadow tabs is a background color selector. They were all set to white.

I changed to translucent and it went away. Maybe a glitch. I don't know. but it fixed it.

Thanks Everyone for your help! It least you had me in the right direction. Maybe as I learn this program, I'll be of assitance to others.
