Text Generator Problem, Veiwing

Hi,

I'm still learning my way around the Vegas 5 application and I don't understand why the text that I generate in a new video track doesn't show correctly in the preview window.

This is my second time creating text like this and I think I remember the first time that the changes I make to the text show in the preview window. It's not doing that now. The text in the video track that I added shows exactly what I am creating, but the preview window only shows white or black text.

I am also trying to delete text I previously created and saved but no longer need. I can't delete that text.

Am I describing this well enough that someone can understand what I am asking?

I'm thinking that something is not right here. Is this normal?

Okay,

I uninstalled and reinstalled the software and the preview is now working correctly.

But since I'm taking up space, where can I delete the custom text that I've created?

All your custom text presets are in a file in a folder somewhere, but as far as I remember you can only delete all of them at once (because they are all in the same file.) What you CAN do is to change it to something you do want to keep and save it like that.

I'll find them. I was hoping I could just delete the as I do items from the media pool..
