Same problem. When I uninstalled and then reinstalled I got an error message that said it could not register atl.dll, to check my system and then install. Could not find a problem with that dll. I'm running Windows Me so I used the system restore feature to reinstall Video Factory but it did not fix the problem. I wrote for Tech assistance but have not gotten an answer from them. If you find the solution, I'd appreciate a holler.

Hi,
I finally got an email response. I did what they said and it worked. Here's the message:

Hello,
Thank you for the email. When you re-Installed the software, did
you just re-install over what you currently had? Go into your Control Panel
and Add/Remove Program, then Un-Install your current Video Factory
installation. Once Un-Installed, we would need you to go into the
C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry folder and Delete the Video Factory Folder
that is there. Once deleted, move back to the Program Files folder and then
open the Sonic Foundry Setup folder. This would also have a Video Factory
folder that needs to be deleted. Once deleted, you would be able to
re-install your Video Factory.
