Because of the Frameserver audio problem of downsampling from 48Khz to 44.1Khz and then Handbrake upsampling back to 48Khz, I always do this. If you still get the out-of-sync problem, then try a direct render from Vegas to see if the problem persists."

This worked a treat wwaag I used an excellent free Remuxing software called YAMB, (ver 2.1.0) simple, easy and very fast .

One very happy chapie now.

You're welcome. Glad it worked for you. As far as the source of the out-of-sync problem, I have no idea, since Debugmode first renders a wav file independently, and then Handbrake does the muxing during render. Guess is really doesn't matter since remuxing seems to solve both the potential downsampling/upsampling problem as well as the out-of-sync issue.
