For those that have my read previous posts about purchasing an additional copy of VV4+DVD yesterday so I could get the free upgrade, I have talked to customer service this morning and they are taking care of getting me the serial numbers today.

This is exactly why I am so impressed with Sony. This was one of the reasons I changed from Adobe. The customer and user support from Sony is definitely top notch. While I have been critical (sometimes over critical) over the last few months wondering how Sony would handle this they have picked up right where SoFo left off...outstanding customer service.

Take a gander at the Adobe forums and see nothing but upset customers because Adobe is making customers shell out another $100 for bug fixes for each of their programs. I cant describe how glad I am to have jumped ship to Vegas.

Granted there are some things I would have liked for VV5 (HD capture) but for me, the support I have just received more than makes up for it. This is truly an exciting time to be alive and in this business.

Just to help out, I got two great pieces of customer service from Sony today: one by phone, the second by e-mail.

For V4 I got great customer service: I ordered the V3LE to V4 upgrade. It came in a bag. I e-mailed and asked if it was susposed to be that way. They said yeah, but send me a box FREE anyway! :)
