Good evening.

There are big problems with the application. It constantly crashes in random events. Help me solve my problem.

This happens on two different computers of two different users.

Thank you.

We have now Vegas Pro 21. I would recommend to test this version, but wait for an upcoming build that will have solved some issues with mfx files.

What kind of media are you using?

Juri-Dolzenko wrote on 4/28/2024, 11:23 AM

We don`t need any others version of vegas. I have buyed Vegas from 16-20 versions , and every time have big problems with stability.  Every time we have random crashes. I use Shadow Play and Action! apps to record videos in mp4 format, after that i put them to video editor. I just start working , put transition and program can crash after that. Or when i just watch preview, or when i just move tracks. Please help us.

You really need to answer the question asked by @RogerS

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro

@RogerS you mean what file formats we use ? mp4 . Or i not understand something.

@Juri-Dolzenko,mp4 is a file extension. Think of it like a paper sack that can hold many different types of things. The important part is what is inside your paper sack. You can use a program like MediaInfo to tell you what video "format" you are actually using inside that file.

Could you say more about how you created the Minecraft media? If it's OBS we can recommend some settings that work well in VEGAS. If its not OBS, consider using OBS.

Just as a test you could also reconvert the media for this project using tools that we know creates good files for VEGAS. Such as ShutterEncoder or Handbrake with the "Production standard" preset. If there are no crashes with the converted media you know that's the problem.
