Yep, I learned that from a Timothy Duncan tutorial before I got Vegas 4, and although I use the Secondary mainly to do a rough color balance I've used the selector several times to create some really interesting "tie-die" effects. Like in the Paris video I'm editing for my brother, he had an interesting conversation with some people from Brazil. Only problem, he didn't know the camera was on and all you saw were pants. So I made them into "tye-dye" pants using about 3 Secondary filters. Really amazing, because the cobblestoned pavement stayed the same, the fleshtone of the hands stayed true, only the pants ended up with green, red and purple splotches.
