I don't believe that the Titles & Text workspace window has ever been able to be resized - it certainly can't be resized in Vegas Pro 21 or 22. In other posts/comments on the forum, you've said that you have Vegas Pro 18. If that is still the case, give it a try in your VP18. I have just tried it in my VP18 and I get the same result as you have shown in your Vegas Pro 13 video.

Yeah, it doesn't resize.

joe-winko wrote on 6/10/2025, 9:52 AM

so you guys are basically telling me there's no way to fix it?

DMT3 wrote on 6/10/2025, 10:06 AM

Well, technically it is working as designed so it is not broke. But no, no way to make it resize that I know of.

@joe-winko

  • Check Windows Display Settings and ensure that Font Scaling is set to 100%.

  • It may be affecting this:

  • Consider Updating to the Magix version of Vegas 13 on the chance that they changed something in build 545.

Also, selecting a smaller font in Titles & Text will make better use of the workspace that you have.

Then you can scale the final to fit the Preview.

@john_dennis No need to do so. Just hold Ctrl and use the mouse wheel...

Using VEGAS Pro 22 build 248 & VEGAS Pro 21 build 208.

@zzzzzz9125 True.

I wonder how many times in a day I scroll the mouse with the Control key depressed. Too many to count, I suspect.

Control and +, Control and -, Control and 0 would be handy, too. I do that all day, every day.

Confession

I haven't used Titles and Text ten times in fifteen years. I used to use ProType Titler.

These screens are designed to work in 1, 2, or 3 columns. Here's what mine looks like in one column:

When I change it to two columns, here's what it looks like:

See here. It may be a similar issue and you need to install the proper font:
