Using Vegas Pro 8.0c, I make hi-def WMV slideshows of wedding photographs from JPGS created in Adobe Lightroom, with wma files as music. Very simple and straightforward, 3 video tracks, two of which are used in the short title sequence, and 1 audio track. There is an overlap (just a fade no video effects) of the jpgs and a pan/crop effect applied to every slide in the sequence. I create a hi-def version to watch in windows media player on our presentation flatscreen, and then from that I make a DVD Architect file to make a DVD. I have used this setup for several years, Sony Vegas being my only video editing tool. I use a custom template when rendering Video Rendering quality is Best, Audio is CBR WMA 9.2, 128kbs,44,stereo, video is WMA 9 Keep original size 1280 x 720, PAR 1, frame rate 30, 90 smoothness Bit Rate is 6.67 M. The problem is, for the last 4 or 5 shows that I've attempted to render to the initial hi def WMV file have all taken more than several trys to cook all the way, and most attempts have ended in a very vague and unexplained error. It has become a real problem for me as I depend on this program to create work. I have the program on more than one machine, and get the same error on both machines.
I'm thinking that some "speed up your system registry cleaner tool" has effed up something that I cant fix.
I contend that I may need to completely uninstall including registry entries and then reinstall....does any one else think this is a good idea? And if so can you tell my what those entries would be to get me back to a totally sony-free state so I can reinstall.
