The SCVUG 10,000 Post

I would like to share the below message posted to the SCVUG to with all Vegas Users.

Dear SCVUG Members,

Today is a very significant day and milestone in the history of our
SCVUG, Southern California Vegas Users Group. We surpassed the
10,000th posting on our message board. The SCVUG began on March 1st,
2003 with two founding members and has now grown to over 1500 members.
Considering that we do not have any commercial sponsors or derive any
income from selling products or services, is quite an accomplishment.
I am grateful to SONY Media Software Management for their complete
support and recognition of our outstanding Vegas Users Group.

Thank you all for your participation and membership in the SCVUG.

There is a forthcoming SCVUG sponsored contest in which we will be giving away a boxed copy of Vegas 7 + DVDA 4 Production Suite to the first prize winner, a boxed copy of Acid Pro 6 to the second place winner. And, a boxed copy of Sound Forge 8 to the third place winner. The future contest details and rules, when ready for posting on the SCVUG, will involve creative editing a short movie trailer using Vegas.
