look i'll shut u psoon enough.. but i really dotn think you guys understnad my point...

Yes edius is buggy as that was how its designed... ie there are far more positives with regard to performance and output, which outweigh these negative bugs... so in a marketable frame of mind, these "nuances" are aceptable..
bit like a defect in a car... untl its a predomainant issue, then the issue is virtually non existant and this is understandable..

im not saying dont write manuals and the like.. what i am saying is that maybe. jsut maybe tehre might be someone out there who knows something that we dont... and if we give THEM a chance to speak up, maybe these issues that we so vehemtly repeat would be resolved...
This is what im getting at...
Ths person who may know not only what a problem may be, but mayu also be able to offer the solution to said problem..

like i said work THROUGH it not around it...

but noone is understanding my line of thinking here.. i thnk its more my typing style comig acros as being a little agressive.. which i DO apologise for. and if i have offended anyone, it was not intentional. I was merely pointing out that MORE could be done wiht this product now that SOny have taken the reigns... and going back to my inital post, i realy do not see that many innovative CHANGES to Vegas4
Vegas 4 changed history.. it really did.. it proved to teh world that it WAS possible to work fluidly wihtin this industry.. much more fluid than premiere, liquid, avid and fcp.... it CHANGED the way adobe thought.. it changed how liquid managed its audio, it changed how edius handled itself as a SW editor... all this from Vegas 4...

competition.. it changes everything...

but since then, there HAVENT been many changes to the engine save from miniscule evolutions which really havent made a PROFOUND change.. (evolutionary yes.. profound no) not like prempro2... or edius 3/4.. or liquid purple (this was before pinnacle bought them out)

Look if it has ONE improvement which affects my work in a positive way, im all for it.. but if its going to be another "i wish it had" situation, then it may be time to build another toolbox..
many have already jumped ship back to prem... its a real shame as tehse editors really knew their shit.. many vegas editors also know their shit.. so lets HEAR WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY...
