Toda I tried to render a project I had rendered yesterday. It's about 30 minutes long with 12 tracks.

In the past week, I've rendered four times with no problems. This morning I made a change to one of the Text events, correcting a misspelled words. No other changes were made to the project.

I've tried to render it five times today. The render crashes with the above message. There is no consistency to the crash. Sometimes it crashes after five minutes, sometimes after 40 minutes of rendering.

I've been using 11 for a couple of months and have not had a similar problem. None of my other (60) projects will render either. Most of them haven't been touched since the last rendering.

I have a Sony lapto, Core I7 with 6GB memory. I kept the Task Manager Performance window open during the last run, and the memory use never exceeded 50%.

The only thing that changed between yesterday and today is there was an automatic Windows update install.

I have tried restarting the system.

I have tried restoring my operating system back to the last restore point (August 5)

I have tried re-installing Vegas 11.

I effectively have a perfectly useless piece of software (that worked perfectly yesterday).

Any ideas?
