Been looking for a sub 1K 40 inch'ish HD TV with solid color controls to be able to ensure proper color calibration, and I've found that this TV is able to turn off each color. Red, Green, Blue, which should allow for the ability to do a blue gun, and make sure my colors are correct. Reviews say the blacks aren't overly dark, but I'm more concerned about proper colors etc... as I can tell what's what.

Toshiba 42zv650u is what I'm looking at - any ideas why it wouldn't be a good monitor for HD?
