Yes, V6 and V7, DVDA3 and DVD4 use different folders and can be used together on the same system - even at the same time.

You certainly can. My home machine has Vegas 4 to 7 as well as DVDA 1 to 3 on it.
Note to self: Clean up the hard drive one of these days :-)

Just a couple of things to bear in mind running them side-by-side; Vegas 7 will update the media library after install and the updated version is not compatible with v6, so back up the files beforehand.

Also, Vegas 7 projects are not compatible with v6 projects, so don't make the mistake of tinkering with a project in v7 that you plan to continue with after the trial in v6.
