Hi. Obviusly, I'm a novice. Not even a novice really. I'm one of those people who can play anything, but doesn't understand anything technical abour the recording process. I understand enough to record and mix. This is a fairly simple question. When you have a track split into multiple fragments, how do you (is there a way to) make it think all these fragments (blank spots included) are all one event again, so that I can copy and paste them as one whole to a point further ahead in the project's timeline? (And no, I can't just use undo, because the track wasn't ever one cohesive event, it's massed together of multiple events form different file types, etc). How can i copy and paste them ALL, as a single event, into anywhere I choose? As it is, it will only copy single events, even when using the event selector to drag over multiple events. If I can't figure this out, I'm going to be spending way more time than I need to just to build, say, a drum track...or a background vocals track, etc. Thanks for any help. Sorry I'm so slow to learn this stuff. :)
This seems simple, but I can't get it lol.
