Hi,

I am planning to buy a wireless mic such as the Sennheiser EW112P but is there some kind of wireless microphone combo that has a single camera mounted receiver and the possibility of using either a handheld microphone or a tie pin style microphone with body transmitter, or can any camera wireless receiver be tuned to multi task like this.
In other world is there a wireless mic product that comes with a xlr camera receiver, a tie pin wireless microphone with body transmitter and a handheld wireless microphone with transmitter in the microphone body, all in the same kit to create a two fold wireless recording system?

Any comments would be appreciated.

thanks, Genie

Most any semi-pro or better system will allow you to mix and match parts to fit your needs. You can buy one receiver, one body pack with tie-clip mic, and one handheld mic. As long as they are all the same frequency they'll all work together. You wouldn't be able to use both mics at the same time though; you need a separate receiver for each transmitter that you use simultaneously. But if you're only using one mic at a time then most any manufacturer has what you want.

I use exactly what you are questioning. A senni lapel/tie to a Seni Tx and then to a Senni Rx AND I can switch to a Senni reporter's handheld mic with its own Tx Plug into its XLR socket. All works very well. Both Txs are tuned to the Rx. It works.

No, I was wondering if you you were asking if there IS a kit ready to go: Lapel + Tx + Reporter TX AND Rx. Look carefully on the Senni sites, I believe I saw a G2 system that may fill your bill. Not cheap!
