Dear Vegas, Switching Ratio to fit TikTok video, but the system will not allow me to render my video. It wants to render as audio only. I know more information is needed, but not sure what. Im using PC Windows 10. Sony Vegas 11. 64 bit. Please advise...

Switching Ratio to fit TikTok video,

Which ratio did you use in the project?

but the system will not allow me to render my video.

Which rendertemplate (customized?) did you try?

Maybe check out tiktok and then match their requirements. Hard to believe that there are not recommendations. Google perhaps.

Follow this tutorial. You need to set up The project setting, conform the media & customise the render template.

project setting & render template can be customised & saved as template for future use.

VEGAS Pro 11?

I'm afraid this version is already too old...

I use it and love it too! If it works and new features dont needed, why upgrade?
And 11 doesnt have the autoripple freeze bug, like 12,13,14,15,16,17 and 18 :-))

Thanks everyone! That is very helpful..I will attempt everyone of the responses and see what happens. Regarding the Pro 11.....Im aware, but man, Im so darn fast with it. The day I upgrade will be the day that I will have to adjust to a temporary derailment. The set back for me is learning and while Sony Vegas is generating money its hard to squeeze in, the new learning...

You'd be surprised how similar 19 is to 11 as far as how you use it... VEGAS hasn't changed much as far as UI goes. However, you can try it for free and see how you like it! There is a free demo for VEGAS 19... but before you upgrade, keep in mind that new versions of VEGAS typically drop around the end of the summer, so it might be a good idea to see what new stuff is being worked on for the next version of VEGAS... you can still check out that demo for 19 in the mean time.

relaxvideo, they did finally squash that bug in 19.

Dear John, Your screen shots are so on point! Thank you! That worked! Its amazing, have created thousands of videos, but now my clients are calling for this new configuration, so its time that we all move with the times, I guess. Thank you John, that is awesome!

@Roberto-Albarracin

If that resolves your issue, please mark it as a "Solution". I did a dry run of dual booting my oldest machine image that contains Vegas 9-13 as a partition on my newest workstation. I've also considered removing all versions of Vegas except Vegas 14 and 19 (likely). Please consider upgrading Vegas in the next decade or so.

Actually, I do still have a VM of that old machine...

Sorry brother, spoke to soon. It wont work. I will download Vegas 19 for now. Thank you to everyone.
