I don't know the answer but it's the same here.

Same here. Additionally the ampersand ( & ) sign does funky things, but certain Wing Dings, Ding Bats, etc. characters work fine.

Same here. And just as odd, I can copy the tilde out of your post and paste it into the credit roll media generator, but upon closing it gets converted to a double quote.

ditto.

Bryan, you found a good one. Time to open a support ticket by "Asking a Question":

Here's a couple things to try.

1) Programs->accessories->system tools-character map
2) Select Arial & scroll down til you find U+0334 "Combining Tilde Overlay" - that's way past the first/normal tilde for Arial.
3) Select & Copy
4) Back to the Credit Roll & Paste.

Or... try an keypad alt 0152 see: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/what-happens-vegas/121958-font-type-included-vegas-8-pro.html (I haven't tested this)

Good Luck!

On my Win XP Home system, U+0334 is not found. ??

However, doing the Alt keypad 0152 worked. The tilde stays in the credit roll.

Good find!!!
