Time Code

Cant find anything on it, So I'll ask. I need to generate a final render of a video with the burn in time code displayed on the screen. It is a preview copy requested. Help? Ideas?

I think you are referring to the Sony Timecode video event? Just put it into the track Fx....

Which timecode do you wanna use? That one of the timeline, of each single event or the original timecode.

All you have to do is to apply the Timecode filter. And depend where you do it it displays one of the choices I mentioned above, e.g. original timecode will be burnt in if you apply that filter onto the clips in the MediaPool.

BTW, while doing the usual talking up my work, I was able to find and get use of a 3/4 tape machine capable of producing finished braodcast tape, which also can lay down the bitc for previews. So now the options I have have grown. The day may come when I can do this stuff on nationwide tv yet.
