time for a break

paul_w wrote on 12/19/2011, 10:03 AM
hello all,
I have been posting so much recently while trying to help people with v11 in particular, sometimes helping, other times not. But i try anyway. I think that is what this forum is so good at - we help each other.
But i am starting to feel like an unofficial Sony help line here and, well, I may be overdoing things so its time for a break. Time to stop.
I wish you all a very merry Christmas and and Happy New Year 2012!!!
Good luck with V11 if you went that way. I have some editing to get on with, and some OFX to learn so here is me signing off for a while.

Have a great holiday time and best wishes.

Paul.

Thanks Paul,

yes, it's good to step away from it all for a bit to get a little perspective. Have a happy holiday!

Good luck, Paul, and thank you for your contributions (and, by the way, I don't think you've over-exposed yourself here- all help is welcome).

All the very best for Christmas and the New Year.

Hi Paul, good to see you back :)

Have you got any conclusive answer from SCS about our common "discovery" about 8 tracks being the limit for GPU acceleration in MC editing?

I did, but after I fulfilled their demand for attaching a copy of my sysinfo output, I didn't hear from them any more :(

Exactly the same situation here, but i have not sent in the sysinfo data yet.
They repeatedly stated they could not reproduce the issue... I kinda gave up at that point. If they cannot reproduce it then what hope is there. Still, i will send it in when i get around to it.
