About a year ago the subject came up about putting the time code onto the output video. This is a especially important when allowing a customer to determine the exact video content of the finished product. The outcome at the time was that MS3 was not capable of this task. The workaround was to go to Vegas. However, I have found a shareware program that almost does the job . It will put on the time in hr:min:sec but NO frame#. I asked the author if there were any plans to do so and was told "NO". But it is better than nothing. It takes the time code from the DV avi file . Check out this link "www.geocities.com/dts8888/".
You simply run this program against your previously captured avi files and the time/date is applied in various formats of your liking.
